What is a Triad Meeting?

Triad Meetings are generally conducted by a moderator with 3 participants. The participants will always come as people who know each other. Triad meetings can have different goals and shapes, depending on where they happen. But the key thing to know is that they always involve three important people or parts working together to talk, cooperate, or make choices.

Triad interviews are very useful in the world of consumer research. They help researchers learn a lot about people's choices and what they like. These meetings provide a structured way to have deep talks and watch how people behave when they talk about products or services. It's like shining a light on the secrets of consumer behavior, and it helps companies make better products and advertising that people will love.

You can decide to group the three people in different ways, like:

  • Generations: One person from Generation Z (the younger group), one from the Millennial generation (in the middle), and one from Generation X (the older group).
  • Type of Customer: Have one person who likes the product, doesn't mind it, and doesn't like it at all.
  • Shared Interests: Get three people who use similar products or brands and all like the same things.

With Decode’s Triad meeting template, you can:

  • Conduct in-depth interviews
  • Set an intimate setting with flexibility in group construct
  • Add upto 3 moderators and 5 observers
  • Gather real-time insights
